Hey all! How are you doing?! I hope your week has been a good one and that you are celebrating TGIF alongside me! I cannot wait until 5 o'clock and when my hubby gets home so we can start our weekend!!!
It seems like the days, the weeks, the months are just running straight into each other sometimes, doesn't it?
The fact that it's already fall has my head spinning though! It’s my favorite season I think but I don’t know that I’m quite ready for it yesterday. I feel like between COVID hitting last year and all of the weeks I spent at home with my place of business shut down, we missed so much of the sun. So much of life.
And I, for one, am not quite ready to exchange that for leaves falling and it getting darker earlier just yet. Don’t get me wrong – I love witnessing the changing of seasons and the beautiful kaleidoscope of colors that fall presents, but… I guess I’d just like time to slow down just a little bit so we can savor these last days of summer just a little bit longer.
And speaking of time slowing down a little… I want to challenge you this weekend to slow down in your own life, take stock of the things that are TRULY important to you. The things that light you up and bring you joy.
I just had the thought just now that I feel like in my own life I am so busy trying to get to where I’m going, reaching and pushing myself to become who and what I want to be that I forget to stop and enjoy the little moments. I forget what it feels like to experience the truest feelings of joy.
My goal for this weekend is to find a way to do all the things I want, do all the things I love, do all the things that bring me JOY, and then? Maybe create a magic portal to jump through where I can slow down or rewind time and do it all over again! Wouldn't that be insanely cool if that were possible?
Okay, so maybe hopping into a make-believe time machine isn't entirely possible - or at least not yet! - but stop for a moment and think about a way we can make it FEEL like time has slowed.
For me, these things would include finding joy in the simple moments of life that take my breath away.
What are some moments in your everyday life that bring you joy?
Is it music? Is it laughter? Is it your family, your friends, your pets?
It is writing? Is it reading? Is it podcasting? Cooking? Creating?
Whatever it is that brings you joy, lifts your spirits, and sets your soul on fire, do MORE and MORE and MORE of THAT!
I talk a little more about this in an upcoming podcast episode on The Daily Escape Podcast where I give you the tools to manifest a life you've always wanted through the creation of a Vision Board.
Stay tuned - you won't want to miss that one!

I've been learning so many things through the course I've been taking and it's literally changed my entire perspective and the way I see my future now.
Who would have imagined in just a few short months since we took a vacation that renewed our spirits, I would be embarking on one of the biggest journeys of my whole life.
It's made me uncomfortable, to say the least, and some days, terrified is a better word to describe it, lol.
But I'm excited, I'm inspired, and I'm more than ready to get things moving!
And it turns out, in all the soul-searching, in all the wandering, and wondering, and feeling lost in trying to find myself, I was right where I was meant to be all along!!! And I couldn't even see it because I was too busy trying to control where I was going to notice!
I would challenge you to look at your own life and ask yourself, "Where do I see myself in the future? What goals do I want to achieve? What dreams have I put on the back burner that I want, no, I NEED to dream?"
You see, life is too short. It's fleeting. And it can be taken away from you in the blink of an eye.
So, this weekend, to prepare for my upcoming episode on creating a vision board, take a few minutes to get out in nature.
Find a quiet place to clear your mind of all the chaos and noise that surrounds you and let’s do some self-reflecting.
Take a few minutes to reflect on the things that matter most to you. These can be things you want to improve upon. Things you’ve never done but want to try. Dreams, Goals, Hopes, and Wishes for the future.
I’m talking BIG DREAMS that scare the crap out of you to even imagine. I’ve heard it said that if your dreams don’t scare you, then you aren’t dreaming big enough.
Let's meet back here in a couple of weeks, and let's share our vision boards. Our dreams of the future that we've not only created in our mind's eye, but ones that we INTEND to make come true. Those dreams that we intend to LIVE OUT LOUD!
I hope you all have a great week and I'll see you very soon my friends!

Stay tuned! I'll be back soon - unless I find a way to make that time machine into a reality, that is! :-) Hang in there and know that you are loved from here to the universe and back.
Until next time.
I’m unconditionally yours.
All my love,
~ Sadie
